Home Interiors of the 90's

Picture
In the 90’s there was less color and more open spaces.  Houses looked almost the same as they do now accept they had couches with weird patterns on them.  They got rid of their tile floors and got wood for their kitchens.  Black rough tile became popular with bathrooms and still is.

There was less wallpaper and more paint.  There was maybe one strip of wallpaper about a foot from the ceiling that had a pattern on it.  There was glass showers in the late 90’s and people got separate bathtubs.

Wicker furniture became popular.  A chair from Pier One Imports that was wicker and had a round seat was a in very popular demand and in almost every American home.  Wicker became out quickly and almost stopped in the late 90’s.
